I completed my medical degree in 1996 at Vienna University, Austria. After my studies I initially trained in a renowned fertility clinic where I was involved in both clinical and research work. In 2000 I was appointed to work as a research fellow at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Centre within Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, LA, USA where I participated in regular ultrasound clinics for high risk pregnancy and achieved proficiency in my ultrasound skills. I also performed research projects in 3D-Ultrasound.

I started my training in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University Hospital, Vienna in 2001, and then continued in Australia in 2003. I secured a position as a registrar at the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital (RBWH) where I worked for 6 years gaining valuable experience in a wide range of difficult deliveries, pregnancy complications and a variety of women’s health issues. I finished my training at the Redcliffe Hospital where I gained further experience and proficiency in gynaecological surgery.

In 2014 I became affiliated with Monash IVF to provide the option of fertility treatment in my practice and completed my Master of Reproductive Medicine (MRmed) in 2019.
